Vacancies

Teach here.

We are a small school being rebuilt, which is a good time to join one. Subject specialists, house parents and support staff.

No vacancies are open at the moment

Speculative applications are read. Send a covering letter and a CV to info@hensardbritishacademy.com and say which subject or role you are writing about. We keep applications on file for the current academic year and contact people when something opens.

What it is like to work here

The school is small enough that every member of staff knows every child by name, and that is a deliberate limit rather than a stage we are passing through. It means more responsibility for each teacher and less anonymity for each pupil.

Teaching runs across two curricula, Nigerian and British, so subject specialists here prepare candidates for WAEC and NECO alongside the international route. Boarding staff live on site.

Safeguarding

Every appointment is subject to reference checks and to the school’s safeguarding policy. The safeguarding policy needs writing and publishing. Parents and candidates both look for it, and its absence is noticed.to confirm

How to apply

A covering letter and a CV to info@hensardbritishacademy.com. Say which role you are writing about. Shortlisted candidates teach a lesson as part of the interview.
