Pupils during evening prep
Boarding and school life

What the day looks like after four o’clock.

Two houses, boys and girls, four to an en-suite room, with a house parent living on site and a resident nurse on campus every night of term.

The houses

There are two boarding houses, one for boys and one for girls. Each has a house parent living on site, and rooms of four with their own bathroom. Boarding is available from Basic 7.

House names. Photographs on file show a house parade with named houses (Red House, Yellow House) under the old school name. Confirm whether those houses continue, and under what names, before this page is published.to confirm

Pastoral care

Every boarder has a house parent and a tutor. The point of a small school is that a child who goes quiet is noticed within days rather than at the end of term, and the staff are expected to act on it.

A nurse is resident on the campus every night of term, and the site is closed and gated with security present overnight.
