A new name, the same grounds

After twelve years on its campus in Bwari, Abuja, The British Oasis Academy has been acquired by Hensard University and renamed Hensard British Academy.

The site does not change and neither does most of the teaching staff. What changes is what stands behind the school: a university group willing to invest in laboratories, in the library, in sport, and in the subject specialists a secondary school needs if it is going to teach two curricula properly.

Pupils who complete Senior Secondary at the Academy will have a mapped route into Hensard University, whose main campus is at Toru-Orua in Bayelsa State. No pupil is obliged to take it, and the school will continue to prepare every leaver for entry anywhere.

The twelve core values that govern life at the University now apply at the Academy in the same way, to pupils, teachers and staff alike.
